Are you in favor of a federal mandate for carriers to pay detention equal to or greater than the hourly minimum wage?

No more government. They ruin everything. Why are Americans so hellbent on having the government run their lives?

You need to charge the shippers for detention time that's the only way it would be feasible they are the ones at fault or the broker then the ball would start rolling at owner operator best interest.

    No !!!!!
More government control, just what the industry needs. By now you would think everyone has figured out that the more the government gives and controls the more liberty you give up. Government needs to stay out of every private industry, they cannot even run a cafeteria. The fmcsa needs to be disbanded anyway,

No most carriers pay 15-20 after the first 2 hours. And owner ops get 30-40 per hour minimum wage would be a decrease in compensation.
