I know this comment will serve no purpose but one of those ice pads should have been a swimming pool!!!

JUST FOR FUN,
I might add that I took it you meant "fewer" staff.
You could get to "less staff" by having each of those who are now employed take off 30 pounds of excess weight if at all possible. ;-)

Strange that those who commissioned the report seemed to say, "The public is not qualified to provide comprehensive answers to the problems at the complex nor are any of the council members ." So, what, all of a sudden makes everyone qualified to vote on the recommendations?
I'm an outsider, but I'm wondering: If those are the recommendations and you are interested in the community voting on them, did your really need a $27,000 report to come up with what to vote on?
I'm also interested in the item that seemed to get the most votes, "less staff." Do people really know what staff reductions would be made and how they would effect general upkeep and operation? ... Or did people just vote because they consider "less staff" anywhere to be a great move (without considering the effect?).
I do hope you don't mind me commenting from London but I still feel a tie to Aylmer and I am interested in supporting good community planning there.

I agree with Mr Nesbitt. A proper question should be much simpler. "Do you agree with the implementing of the recommendations of the EECC report." The first four all have merit but it's hard to believe # five actually gets votes.

This poll is not a proper question as most people would check to 3 out of the 5 examples. I think everyone in Aylmer and Malahide would like to see more done to cut costs at the EECC.
