False. OJ is a great player, but Memphis is lightyears away from winning a championship. They need stronger personnel.

The Grizzlies have done a nice job of adding arthur and mayo to the mix. Mayo is an excellent perimeter scorer who will take some of the offensive pressure off of Rudy Gay. Arthur is a nice physical front court player who is solid defensively and if you pair him with marc gasol they have a pretty young solid nucleus. I do not see this team making the playoffs but I do believe they will at least be competitive and exciting to watch. Mayo will score a lot of points in his rookie campaign.

The Gizzlies should add Penny Hardaway and Rodney Carney to the mix. Penny would help with leadership and Carney is now learning to play a pro type game. Also send Casey Jacobson packing!!!!!!!!

I was extremely skeptical of the Miller trade, but I think us Grizz fans have some hope. I can't wait for the season to start to see how the new guys are going to play. I believe it's going to be important over the next 5+ years that we keep the majority of what we've got right now. Memphis will never get anywhere if the young, promising talent doesn't stay. 5 to 10 years down the road, I want to see Rudy and O.J. still in Grizzlies jerseys. We've got good, young talent, which is as solid as any team's. If our personnel plays its cards right, a championship could very well be coming to Beale Street. Go Grizz!
