I blame the supermarkets for selling such large quantities of pre packaged food. A single person would end up eating the same things for days. The bogof is also enticing people to buy more than they need, just to save a few bob, but it is no saving when you wouldn't have normally bought it. Time for a complete rethink of our food buying habits
