I need to replace my iPod and cell phone. As I see it, the iPhone is a device that is greater than the sum of the two old and decrepit parts I currently use. But the 3 year commitment and the data/voice plans are stopping me from taking the plunge. I'll wait and see what happens. In the meantime, I'll update the devices I currently use.
