I would like to see the statue of Rocky, regardless of its size, displayed on the grounds of Broctkon High School. Several reasons to support the High School /Stadium location are access, visibility, parking, and education. Rocky played baseball, and also played football for Brockton HS. He wore Jersey #1. During his sophomore year, Rocky left school to assist his family. Those were hard times in America, and thousands of children across the country pitched in to help out at home. After his death, Rocky's family was presented with an honorary diploma in the name of "Rocco Francis Marchegiano." Rocky's first love was baseball, and that can be associated with Campanelli Stadium, he played football, and we have Marciano Stadium, and Rocky attended Brockton HS. Those reasons are several of many which support a Brockton HS/Stadium site for Rocky's statue. A "Rocky @ BHS" petition is circulating throughout Brockton. This is a world class honor, and Brockton will be a destinantion location because of it. I can only imagine the energy and excitement that the statue will give and create. The high school campus/stadium is a win-win for everybody, especially the generations of students that will attend Brockton HS, and the scores of thousands of people from the immediate area and across the state that participate in many different activities on the grounds of Brockton High. The most appropriate place for the Rocky Marciano statue would be at the entrance to the Marciano Stadium. Athletes, their families, friends and fans all come to the BHS grounds for athletic and other events, not to mention all the people who come from other cities and towns to compete against the Brockton teams.

This should be the town of Brockton not the city?Why, that how we think small time like Avon.We need to put this statue so we can have people and money came into the city.

I think the Marciano Stadium at BHS is a fitting location for this statue. It's a location where more people would be able to see it. It would probably be much safer there, since there is so much activity going on in that area and the school police are always patroling the school grounds. Since the stadium is named after "Rocky Marciano", I think this would be the best place for this legendary boxer's statue to be.
