Which ASCII Fail Whale is Superior?

None of them truly capture the magic of the fail whale, but "C" is simple and do-able for the masses.

Simplicity and a tail are both key elements that C possesses. A whale without a tail is just sad.

I too think the third is the best option. That big blank with the < on the end just seems to say "big fail". And It's actually possible to remember how to type it.

I like B because it has an eye. It makes the beloved falewhale feel friendlier.

I think you could add an eye to the third choice, possibly. (*_)< But it works really well even without. (I'm not sure how you got the eye dot up high like that, so I used an asterisk...)

A combination of the last two. You need a tail and an eye...and a smile would be nice, too!
