My child has been in early intervention since birth. This involves learning through toys and play. After all the toy recalls I was petrified and threw away most of his toys. I took him for a lead test and searched the internet feverishly for toys made in the USA. I was horrified to learn that there were hardly any and none advertised as made in the USA. I would give anything to find products made here and enjoy watching my son play, instead of worrying about lead paint seeping through his fingertips. It isn't just the toy thing either; the cups, books, bottles even the clothes not made here in the USA. What do we still make here? It seems to me we have given other countries total control of our future; they don't need weapons, just a contract with a toy company. Very sad.
I know, seems as though the countries that are supplying products to our children are raising scientists and we are raising spectrim disorders, developmental delays and behavioral problems. Hmmm, wonder why? They are winning a war that we didn't even know we were in. Wait 20 years for the big picture. They certainly are.
