Interesting, isn't it, how people interpret the generally value-free topics we use. 'Summer' seems like a fairly sunny one, though as the fiction posted shows, it ain't always the case. Hmmm. The grey cells are pondering it for August. Maybe an either/or topic next time around...

I agree about the lighthearted stuff. I sent one in for the May competition. But when they are compared with the other stories - the more serious ones - they look kind of 'out of their depth'.
