I also would like to know if Chef Chris took the other job offered him at Abigale's. It would be nice to be updated on this.

Jamil was by far the most professional and should have won this hand's down. His experience and strong approach, opinion and his style will make any restaurant shine!

I preferred Chef Jamil's style and attitude. He was presenting an approach that he believed was his style. If the owners of Abigales wanted a paticular approach, they should have developed a menu and recipes for the candidates to follow.
I also found Anne Burrell's comment offensive and pithy.

I'm not sure the best way to find a chef is to have two timed dishes ala CHOPPED. If the very first chef is cut for a particular timed dish, that person might actually have the best dinner service ever. I remember on one show, a chef didn't get an already prepared sauce onto her dish and was cut. If I was Anne and saw what was happening I would have given everyone one more minute. The question is, is Chris happy being offered a sous chef job, or would he rather try again elsewhere?

We want to know too -- did Chris take the other job offered to him by the owner & exec chef so he could grow in skills at Abigale's and get away from the bummer job he was currently working?
