Although I've loved and enjoyed all of the songs performed by David, my all-time favorite is "O Holy Night". I'm not sure why it did not make this list, but it most definitely should have. I believe he was around 14 years old when it was recorded. (It was posted on his old site (http://www.davidarchuleta.net) after Star Search that has since been taken down.) I get chills every time I listen to it. If you haven't heard this earlier version of "O Holy Night" you should seek it out. I assure you, you won't be disappointed!
So obviously I voted "Other" in this poll. But as for the songs that were included in this poll, I suppose I could have voted for either "Don't Tell Me" or "Imagine". Both exhibit his purity of voice and remarkable phrasing that we have all come to know and love ... so they would be my second and third choice.
I'm anxious to see what his upcoming CD holds in store for us. I'm looking forward to it with great anticipation and will definitely be purchasing it and any future albums, as well.
I agree with the person above. Have been listening for hours to all of Young David's songs and though there were many I liked and kept finding a fav when I heard "O Holy Night" that is my favorite. God bless the soul this young man has. He is amazing!
I agree with dogolv. the early version of O Holy night absolutely took my breath away. I have never even liked that as a Christmas song til I heard this version. It makes me want to cry every time I hear it. In fact, I like the higher register so much, I think I prefer this arrangement than if he were to actually sing it now.
