I will be driving a slow solar powered "wagon". Simply by reducing the maximum powered speed to a walk, a solar powered car or wagon is rather easy and not too expensive to build, and could carry a lot of cargo. Plus, it would still go much faster downhill than horses, and require no food or fuel.

I expect to continue driving my VW diesel beetle at 51+ MPG. I may be using bio-diesel from the local processor, however they continue to charge more $ than petro-diesel. Economics will tell.
I will also continue to ride my E-bike.

I guess I'll be expanding with a cargo bike for transport and increased independence. My bike will continue to serve all my day-to-day needs.
my bike and public transport have served me well so far .. never owned a car and hopefully never will. but the situation over here in germany is a little different from the one in the states, i guess. ;)

I'll still be driving a motorcycle. Just like I have been the last 15 years.

why do most of the options involve buying something? what about continuing to use or expanding the use of my current bicycle? and using my car for long distances where public transit doesnt exist. i live in los angeles, and to stay sane i love to get away to the middle of nowhere in the mountains. this is neither a bike option, public transportation nor a good aptera style option. but i may have to cut back on the number of times that i go, and certainly carpool to get to trailheads. hopefully more cities will become like manhattan where most people are happy to never leave the island for months on end (a major cultural shift for most cities)...and some don't even have drivers licenses.

I plan to still have a car for inevitably long drives (visiting my grandparents, driving home to see my parents) but since I will be moving to a metro area soon, I plan on using public transit, a bike, and my two able legs.
