So many things, so little clarity. Overall FF3 takes longer to start and the "Awesome Address" drop down bar suks mightily. Overall though, any dayum thang is better than Micro$nots bloatware.

If ff3 is slower out of the box use this guide to make it much faster loading pages http://www.nettechguide.com/how-to-speed-up-firefox-page-loading-times/ enjoy!

Slower - hangs for a few seconds when typing text, especially right after starting the browser. Slower to render pages. Slower in ways that are extremely annoying. If anything, you'd expect a speed improvement from FF, not bloatware. So sad, makes me want to downgrade to FF2.

Probably it can be slower because they moved cookies and cache from regular files to sqlite database. This can be slow on older systems or on defragmented drives /not impoirtnant on unixes and linuxes/ and slow on large objects like big pictures. Anyway, can this be true?
