I am happy that i saw this musical even though I am only 15, because really musicals are supposed to appeal to everyone. I went into the theatre not knowing anything about Jersey Boys except knowing that it won the Tony for Best Musical in 2005. I came out of the theatre knowing more about an older group and the fact was that me and my friend (also 15) were part of the 5% under 18 and we loved it anyway. THe music, the acting the story were portrayed so well and I would love to see it again.

I'm actually surprised that the fans are older since the musical uses a lot of languae. But it makes sense, too, because those people grew up with that kind of music. Every age group I talk to, older and younger, loves it and wants to see it again. The fact that Jersey Boys is written for all kinds of age groups makes it appealing and that's why it's receiving the major success.
    Everyone loves it.

COmpletely makes sense: 55-64's were in their teen/early 20's during the Four Season main popularity. The 45-54 were the little brothers, sisters, cousins or nieces/nephews of those teens. At 50 I remember hearing Sherry, Walk Like A Man and Big Girls Don't Cry when being baby sat by my aunt (ten years older).
