I miss Viet too! He was awesome. I would watch his show for sure, because his dishes were so beautiful!

I would have loved to see Viet have his own cooking show. He is very talented. Food Network is getting so disappointing. Triple D every day it seems.

This week-end, all the episodes of "Extreme Chef" was on and I watched it for the 2nd time and Viet was a contender and went all the way to the end comming in 2nd place, I mean what do these other chefs have to come near to have to offer than he has. He was terrific on that show and ever competion I'v seen him on he has been my pick. I watch 90% Foodnetwork shows and would like to see him on something permanant.

I cannot believe you were not able to find better contestants for a highly sought after position like the Next Food Network Star! Aside from Viet, and possibly Stacy, it's a joke!!! Letting Viet go killed your show. You find him boring - I find Alton Brown boring. I don't know what you're looking for, but whomever did the screening of contestants should be fired. The contestants not only are not talented, they are almost disgusting. I wouldn't watch any of then except Viet.

The two chefs we could learn something from have been eliminated. Now we can learn about poor mohawks and dinki voice covers. No reason to watch

Lovely cannot cook !!! She was on Hell's Kitchen and was the worst cook on there .. Chef Ramsey actually called her "useless" .. She is a complete joke to me ..

I agree With Chief Chris just using the potato chips on the bottom of the dish with a little caramel sauce on top did not transform the potato chips - the apples were the star of the dish. Chris was robbed.

I feel like the show has become entirely too gimmicky. I know they have so many contestants now, but I simply cannot believe that they couldn't find chefs who were more qualified, personable, talented and willing to listen to the mentors and put their suggestions into action. The last two years have been most disappointing.

I would love to learn more watching a program featuring Viet. So he got tripped up on dip...big deal. That man can cook and has such a warm presence about him. Food Network take note!
