If there were actually inmates with legitimate mental health issues then possibly, but I can tel you for a fact that the inmates at Tamms are not mentally ill but very effective manipulators of the system. They realize that their only option of leaving that facility is through uneducated and easily manipulated people as you. Their manipulation of the system will most likely get the public to actually feel sorry for these murderers, sex offenders, and gang chiefs and eventually put enough pressure on the elected officials to actually give in to these demands and close down Tamms. This will destroy the Correctional setting and send the institutions back the the days where gangs ran the facilities without any fear of repercussions. Tamms has been a major deterrent for gang member to step up and take over publicly for fear of being sent to Tamms. This has kept violence down and actually helped all inmates who actually just want to do their time without the threats of gangs influencing them as they have done in the past prior to the Tamms effect. So go ahead and be a bunch of idiots and try your tactics to return the facilities back to the old days. You will only be hurting the family members that are incarcerated in the long run. They will be the ones who truly suffer for your stupidity.
