WHY DOESN'T AL SHARPTON JUMP ON THIS? Barack Hussein Obama plays the race card on a regular basis. He makes "racist" remarks on a regular basis. OBAMA IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO RUN FOR OUR PRESIDENT. HE IS A RADICAL, RACIST, ANTI-AMERICAN WITH TOO MANY TIES TO TERRORISTS. THIS MAN WILL DESTROY OUR COUNTRY. Now Sharpton is screaming racist for another Don Imus' comment. Why don't Al Sharpton leave his hatred towards this country at home!!!! I would love to know why African Americans as they call themselves always crying over something stupid. Blacks call us whitey, etc. and nothing happens to them. They sponsor their own "black" progams and nothing happens. They are more racist than any white person I know and nothing happens. Imus does more for kids than Sharpton, Jackson, Obama, Wright, etc. They pad their own pockets with their hate and racism! They use the "dumb" non thinking people and stir up hate. For all the pundits who claim Clinton supporters are racists --- maybe you should consider: BEFORE Rev. WRIGHT, Ayers, Rezko, Farrakhan, Malcolm X, Hamas, and many others, Obama WAS pulling the white vote --- After the truth began to come out --- not so much. So, who is the racist? How on earth does the Don Imus comment lead to whether or not to elect Barack Obama President of the United States? Try staying on topic, people. This was yet another of Imus' typically insensitive, knee-jerk comments which one would have hoped he would no longer make after his last debacle with the "nappy-headed hos" remark. I don't know whether he should be fired or not. It depends on what the terms of his return to the air involved after the last mess. It's NBC's decision to make, not Al Sharpton's or anyone else'. My feeling is that if his comments are offensive to you, change the station or turn off the radio. If they are not offensive to you, listen and support. If you can name a black radio host that was fired for saying racist things on the air than we can talk about Innas.

As soon as I read what Imus said, it was obvious he was stating that it figured that the football player was being picked on because he is black. I believe, without a doubt, he was defending the guy and there is no indication of racism to his comment. Pretty soon no one will be able to say anything in fear it will be racist. Come on people. I don't listen to Imus' show but I read the comment and didn't even question it.

I couldn't have said it any better than "no more or less" and "sick of black racists". I just told my husband the other day if they had The White Music Awards there would be a huge racist fuss over that, but not a word was mentioned from any whites or other races about it. Whoopie Goldberg announced Michelle Obama as maybe being the next first lady of the United States and was all excited but announced Mrs. McCain with very little enthusiasm - was that racist or just the way Whoopie feels? I do not think Obama is qualified to be the most powerful leader in the free world or the world period. It is not a matter of color but character and qualification. I am at a loss to understand why the two major political parties in America cannot or will not give us nominees for President out of the thousands that are greatly qualified for the task. Why are the most experienced and qualifed seldom persuaded to seek the office. The Republican party has failed us in this regard several times, but the Democratic party just keeps on pushing on us the worse possible choices for that great office. I fear greatly for the future of our country.

As stated above, racist remarks abound from many avenues, but the mere fact that Imus would even reference the topic after the last incident leads me to believe that he likes the publicity.
