...okay...could the fact that 40% 'Don't care' be a hint that we really DON'T CARE and would like it to STOP being the focal point of the news????

The main reason this is such a big deal to me is we, the voters of California, voted against this. In I think a landslide. Please correct me if I am wrong. What bugs me is a couple of people can turn almost an entire state's wish around. That my fellow listeners is the problem!!

Hipocrisy, I have my rights but gay people don't count? Stop this good ole boy persecution and step into the real world. Has anyone ever come up with an example of how two people who are in love and totally commited to each other has ever harmed anyone else? This anti gay sentiment is nothing less than bigotry. So stop using religion as an excuse to do so. My god teaches love and understanding not hate. Marko, the reason we have a supreme court is to review what is being put forth as a law. The law was unconstitutional and so voted the supreme court. Perhaps rereading the constitution might enlighten you on all americans rights?

What the judges have decided about same-sex marriage is tyranny, plain and simple. That's *one* of my problems with this issue. If three judges are allowed to overturn what the majority of the people voted on, then we have a BIG problem. What ever happened to "we the people"? In 2000, over 61% of all Californians voted for Prop 22: Marriage should only be between a man and a woman. Our California Constitution states that ONLY legislators and voters can make the laws, judges just interpret them. (and *cannot* make their own.) We do not have to bow to this ruling. We can refuse to accept it. All of the mock "marriages" are really illegal. Arnold and the 3 black robes need go back and read our constitution again. What THEY did and are doing IS unconstitutional! We will have our say *again* in November. Let's just hope that *true* justice will prevail this time. We do not need another tyrannical and illegal judicial decision that will overturn the "expressed will of the people."

You, GC, degrade the good Ole' boy as the man and woman that make up the family unit for thousands of years. I believe that you feel you have changed your way of life and now you want to change everything that does not conform to it. Your selfish agenda does hurt others, and Californians who twice voted for a man and woman as the family unit should not be drug into the mud as being detrimental to your needs.
