The pollster question in English differs from that of Chinese version? Why is that? Difference nothwithstanding, my preference is that of Taiwan, ROC

The Republic of China is the sole and legitimate government of all of China. Taiwan is only a province of the Republic of China. The country is still called the Republic of China (ROC), and NOT "Taiwan." Therefore, we should use the country's name. We need to reverse the DPP Administration's "de-sinicization" or "de-ROC" campaign. Long Live the Republic of China. 中華民國萬歲!

ROC You need to get your head out of your @$$. China is ruled by CCP and they are the sole legitimate government of China not ROC. ROC lost the war 60 plus years ago and you guys fled to Taiwan. Get over it...Ya lost and you're not the ruler of China. It is already bad enough that you guys occupied Taiwan, now you're still claiming to be the legitimate govt of the mainland.

May I refer to DREW's comments. ROC is the official name of China prior to the Communist taking over the mainland. ROC includes TAIWAN which the Communist was not able to capture. Communist Party of China or China Communist Party which essentially is a political party with ideology of LENIN won the political war with the support then of the people and rule under the communist system. It is fortunate for Taiwan that the Communists (under Mao Zedong) did not capture Taiwan otherwise Taiwan would now be in the communist yoke. Just like in anything, nothing is permanent and forever. History of countries changes with the times. Just like KMT which ruled Taiwan for 50 years was thrown out in 2000. But with democracy KMT is able to regain its power to rule Taiwan again. Would the Communist ruler in China mainland last forever? Everything changes.Change is the inevitable. The question is when will China mainland changes from Communist system to democracy. Democracy is the system of Government of the future. You cannot have a Government that order you "Listen to me. You do this, I say/order this your just have to follow ". KMT lost the ideology war and lost the right to rule China then (from 1949). KMT is the party that overthrew the Chin Dynasty and claimed the right to rule China mainland). Let say if there is an election in China can you be sure of the outcome, assuming that DPP and KMT parties take part in that election process. It is too far fetched to think of such a scenario for the moment. The question is can it happen? Don't bet you life on it. Maybe you can because it may another generation for that to happen. By then you and I may be gone.
