I quite liked Sean Dersen and Mary Marland's pieces, well structured and clever.

Though there's editorial oversight (and, indeed, formal judging of submissions) we're interested in readers' views and opinions; thus the comments and voting facilities. We can't use them to award prizes, as the system is potentially open to abuse, but it's always good to see what kinds of fiction people are responding positively to, and hopefully it's some kind of accolade/validation to writers whose work is being appreciated by others.

Sean Dersen's piece stood out to me. His is interesting and written in a different style that appeals to me. That said, I think all entries are of high standard and deserve praise :)
