Why those three? I refuse to vote for ANY of them!
Martita and Nikki, especially, should go home.

I've watched this program from the beginning and understand that part of it is likely staged to fill a certain "niche" that they are looking for, but the last couple of seasons are making me question my viewing choices. I still can't believe that they let go of Eric Lee (who could probably cook circles around half of the "experts" on this network); I thought Bobby was going to hire him on the spot after tasting one of his dishes! But at least they are not dragging out personal dramas and keeping on obnoxious personalities in some desperate attempt to increase ratings "soap opera" style as in past seasons. I do believe there are some pros and cons to the new format of the show. Having current celebrity chefs as mentors has got to be a huge help to the contestants and helps get them ready for their own season faster so they are less likely to fail when they are on their own, but as a viewer, my biggest disappointment is that we see less actual cooking. So much time is taken up with strategy sessions and such.
That said, I know it's not PC to say out loud, but the previous poster is correct.... the viewers have to be comfortable watching these people on television, and in an odd way that means inviting them into their homes. Nikki creeps me out. There is something so fake about her that I just cannot stand to watch. It really does not matter what she is making. On the other hand, Michele, with her crazy tattoos and spiky hair strikes me as completely sincere and watchable. In fact, when she does her presentations I feel like I already know her. Then there's Justin.... sorry dude. Clearly the boy has cooking chops but yikes! I don't think he's made one dish that I would want to duplicate. It's fantastic that you know these things, and if the network ever wants to start a "Look at all the amazing things I can do that you'll never use" show, he's your guy! Because I don't care how impressed you all were with it, I'm pretty certain that 95% of your viewing audience will never serve fish bones to their family or friends for dinner! Sadly I think many of the those I would have liked to watch have been eliminated and those few that I still have interest in I see with targets on their back. We'll see... my family has all lost interest, but I told them that I will give it to the end of this season. Maybe I'll find some of my favorites over on the cooking channel! :)

Don't the network bigwigs get it? The viewers will never watch Nikki...she is very creepy and phony.
I personally think Martita has messed up and don't get why she and Ippy are so high on the poll when Evan in so low. My favorite is Justin...he and his cooking are mor interesting than the rest of them rolled up together. Overall it is a dull group and the format is terrible. I just watched last season and it was so much better....anyway, I literally have t leave the room when Nikki is on, she is si bizarre. I think Bobby Flay, whom I love, just picked her for the grill thing and the disgusting double extendre. Check out the poll....the fans can't stand her.
