Was the Seattle City Council right to vote to remove the automated public toilets?

It is obvious that this public toilet project was the direct result of brainstorming efforts of "public servants" who lack basic common sense and have a total disregard for limited revenues. Now, that this nonsense is coming to an end and these same "public servants" proved that they truely are not qualified for the job at hand, what gives these same people the right to earmark our public utility allocation to fund this thing, when it is gone?

Just a pure and senseless waste of money!
I feel terrible for the homeless in King/SnoCo but this is not the answer.

$5 millon dollars could have bought a lot of hot meals for those hungry Americans!

One million dollars each and less than four years service life. For five million dollars I think a porta-potty contract would have been much more effective. They could have even made them of stainless steel and marble flooring.

Why is it the public always pays for such lunatic frivolity. If this money was comming out of councilmens wallets I am sure another solution would have come to fruition.

I'd say live and learn but unless it's gonna cost those directly responsible I doubt much learning will take place. I'm sure they already know how to dodge the bullit.

Another stupid move by the city council. So they gave lazy cops 25% pay raise (which cost ten of millions of dollars) by taking away people's toilets.

Can you believe that, now a cop makes $92,000 base pay. With over time, they will make money than a CEO.

    Nice work, Einstein!! Not!
