I wish that it was as simple a paying a bill, but it is not. It should be about working in good faith with a bank, not about thugs they hire. If you have a car loan it would really nice to know what your all your rights are, before you get a knock on the door and your car taken.
This is for Ron-- First off you know going into the loan that failure to pay will result in loss of your vehicle due to repo. The loaner contacts the loanee many times before put into repo.
I have known Ken Beard for 15 years and he is a stand up guy. I also know that being a repo man is not alwasy easy for him, but he has a family and bills to pay. This is the profession he worked very hard to get into. We need guys like Ken that is willing to put it all on the line so the people that pay there bills don't have to worry about high interest charges on there loans. Hats off to Ken and his posse.I would like to say that seeing the clip on TV was great. Good luck to Ken and all his staff
First to Ron - I have know Ken Beard for many years - He is NO THUG! He is a hardworking guy supporting his family - he has seen hard times just like the rest of us. This isn't about "sympathy" - this is about doing a job and doing it well - if you don't want your car taken - then it is your responsiblity to work it out with the creditor not his. I know from experience that creditors ALWAYS try to work it out before it comes to this. My advice - stop crying, buck up and pay your bills! You should be glad that a real professional is out there doing this work!
