Are rising fuel costs causing you to make changes in your life?

I am driving less, and not as far to save gas

I am shopping for a new vehicle that gets better mileage

I am cutting back on other things to make up for how much I spend on gas

All the above

It has not affected me as of yet

No Judy, it's worse than that. I read an article a couple weeks ago where the oil companies said there was NO shortage. Then when asked why the prices were so high and asked if they understand what this is doing to american families, they said, They do understand that it's hurting american families and the economy, but their profit of 123 BILLION last year is par with what other companies profits, so they don't see what's wrong with it. Well, maybe what's wrong is that other companies that have high profits (and none are on par with 123 BILLION by the way) are going to be in industries where consumers have the ability to choose not to spend money on it. Entertainment, technology, automobiles, etc. It's incredible that government officials want to jump on the New England Patriots for cheating in a game, but they just sit back and let the oil companies destroy american families and the nations economy and do NOTHING!
