We cancelled our trip to Yellowstone National Park in August because of escalating fuel prices. Even after trading in one of our vehicles for something with better mileage we decided that the cost for fuel made the cost of the trip more than we wanted to pay. We had made the reservations last July.
The bummer thing about it is not only do we miss a great trip with our children, but the economy in that area is deprived of 4 more people that would have been stimulating their economy.
It is sad, but anyone who drives a car should be cutting back on their driving. This is something in which effects us all. Going on a trips, efffecting the way we shop, commute and more.
