What I do know at least in WA State is they are allowed to have "teaser" reels.
I do not believe that is fair to the public.
Mmmm... I think Chris might have missed the point - the question wasn't whether or not slot machines are fair or not (anybody in the industry knows that, of all the legal gaming options, slot machines are the most profitable because they have the longest odds against the punter winning in the long term), the question was are machines linked by computer more vulnerable. Anyway you look at it the answer must be yes... and with a capital Y at that because the temptation to hit many machines at once while remaining literally unseen by 'the eye' because you are using a computer in the comfort of your home/private office etc., to bust into the server as opposed to having to expose yourself at a stand alone machine with a monkey paw/light stick etc., must be compelling to even the dullest of crooks.
