I'm surprised this is even an issue of debate. Guns pose a huge threat to security... and increasing the number of firearms in the society only magnifies the problem. The only way to actually stop the threat is by eliminating guns entirely. As long as guns exist, openly or in secret, the lives of the people are at risk.
