its about time kababayan!
samal is a very nice place,it should be developed.tenks
agreed that samal is a very beautiful island..one thing that makes it even more beautiful is its mystery and the time of travelling above sea. when a bridge is built between davao city and samal, there would somehow be lesser eagerness to see the island because it is very easy to reach it...
the point is it will lose it's mystery as an ISLAND..island suppossed to be travelled by waters not by land...

I think Samal Island deserves a bridge in the name of development. But I think we should focus more for the development of the whole region and what should be given priority is the railway system to connect the southern and northern sectors. Davao roads will be clogged soon. The most efficient way to move goods and commuters is thru rail. Major cities like New York and Tokyo have theirs and even Metro Manila. I've been all over the world and I've see this myself.
If we cannot build it now then at least we should start planning. The government should plan where the system would be and control the development of that area for its purpose otherwise it will be too late.
I've heard of this plan before but sadly not lately. With all the developments around I'm pretty sure Davao's progress will be choked and stagnated once the roads are full. I hope our leaders are visionaries enough to give priority to this.

DAPAT LANG TALAGA MAY BRIDGE NA DYAN.KASI ANG MAHAL NG PAMASAHE SA MGA LANTSA AT BARGE.KAWAWA NAMAN YUNG MGA MAHIHIRAP NA CANT AFFORD TO PAY HIGH FARES OF TRANSPORTATION.I KNOW IT WILL HELP A LOT MABUTI ANG TAGA IBANG BANSA GUSTONG TUMULONG PARA MAGKAROON NG IMPROVEMENT DYAN PERO MAY IBA DYAN AYAW NILANG MATULOY ANG BRIDGE KASI NGA SARILI LANG INIISIP NILA.LALO NA DIYAN SA CITY HALL NG SAMAL MARAMI DYAN AYAW KASI MAY MGA LAGAY CGURO.
IT SHOULD AND IT MUST BE HAVE A BRIDGE THERE CAUSE IN THE LONG RUN IT WILL BECOME A REAL LANDMARK AND BECOME A HISTORY THAT COULD TELL US FILIPINO BE PROUD OF THAT WE CAN MAKE IT.A REAL DEVELOPMENT WITH CONFIDING OF TWO CITIES,AM I RIGHT?
cguro pearl girl sa inyo yang barge o lantsa kaya ayaw mo magkaroon ng bridge kasi nga your just afraid that your business will be affected wag ka na.your nothing but a crab mentality.wag ka na.alam ko na yang nasa isip mo.
i hope and pray that sooner or later that there would be a bridge link between the two cities.hope that whose right now and government do something that eventually to come up with be the best development found here and davao and samal just like in cebu city.thanks to you guys and more power,God bless.
