Archiving capabilities would make this a truly awesome package. The "Coming Soon" note about this functionality is too vague though. Hopefully we can expect to see this very soon.
I am part of a group of Marratech users, and we are becoming increasingly frustrated with its patchy performance, so I am keeping an eye on Dimdim's development with interest. For us, _the_ most important thing in an application like this is consistent functionality and performance across all platforms (Windows, Linux and OS X). Getting screensharing working at all on Linux and OS X is important, but once that is done keeping it maintained is just as important. If it works initially, but then breaks in a mainstream distro like Ubuntu, OpenSUSE or Fedora because of something like a kernel upgrade, you will generate a lot of frustration.
Although all the above items would be incredibly useful in extending the featureset - and making it very competitive compared to some other applications like this - I would definately place a strong emphasis on being able to include CTA (call to action) responses like polls or quick survey's etc so that individual viewers can be targeted following repsonse... Being able to gain feedback has to be a key requirement to me considering Dim Dim a viable training option.
