How do you pronounce the word Niche?

I used to pronounce it "neesh" but it seemed pretentious with everyone else pronouncing it "nitch." So I succumbed to peer-group pressure and began mispronouncing it like everyone else. ;o)

Yeah, "neesh" sounds pretentious, I'm with you.
