Well, since two of those are still children, this seems like an odd question. But if you are talkign about a teeny bopper audiience,,,I can see David A winning that..It would have to be Taylor for the older fans...or maybe Clay, but he has lost his charm for me. So I would go with Taylor but if you had put Micahel Johns there,,,there would be no contest.

Since polls are based on who participates, and who sees them in order to vote, they are really meaningless. Younger fans are going to vote in the moment and are more apt to vote. But since you asked........Taylor has the whole package, voice, looks, performance ability, though Clays voice is even better than Davids. David has a ways to go performance wise.

Well , considering a couple of those are still wet behind the ears , I have to go with CLAY AIKEN . Clay makes my knees knock , my liver quiver and my heart go pitty pat. I tend to like an artist that can not only sing , but has a hilarious wit (as seen in his comedic appearance in Spamalot ) and can carry on a verbalistic conversation and stimulate my brain as well as the rest of my body !! Clay has all that and then some !!!

Ev if you have not seen Clay in Spamalot you need to. It is an an amazing show and he is amazing in it. Also check out his new song off his new CD on Amazon. com He by far has the best voice of all these AI contestants and the most charisma. Like David but he does not have the same stage presents as Clay.

Plain and simple, Clay Aiken knocks my socks off!!!!! Taylor has absolutely no appeal for me, Sanjaya is probably a nice kid, but way too young, and David Archuletta is very talented and I like him a lot, but he's just a child. Will be in the QVC audience on April 28th, when Clay is there to sell his new cd, coming out May 6th. It should be a super show - NO ONE sings live the way Clay can. Fantastic!

My sister took me to see Clay in Spamalot, and he was fabulous. Changed SO much since Idol days, and all for the good. His voice was tremendous then, but I have now heard snippets from the new album, and he is fantastic. Like David A., as he is multi-talented and a good guy, Taylor is ok looking, but his voice is so average, and Sanjaya is a cute kid, who seems to appeal to the teens. It's Clay all the way, even if you add in anything from this year or others. There IS some talent, but they pale in comparison.

There is just something about Clay's voice that makes me feel like everything is alright in the world even if it is for just for a few moments. Friends make fun of me for being his fan but I don't care. He is truly awesome.

Listened to the clip above, and he's done it again. I'm on the floor!!! Clay has the best voice every on Idol, and his personality, great looks and wonderful heart just cement his position at the top of the heap!!!!
I found something to be admired in every one of these singers, be they wheezy, hokey or cheesy. Still, i voted for dorky. Go figure. 8)
