What would be a fitting mascot for South Dakota Magazine?

Of those listed, I think coyote is the best. But what about these possibilities: The mighty cottonwood? (it could change with the seasons) The pasque flower? A Blizzard??? Don't mean to mess with your poll, but I wanted to throw out the possibility of it not being an animal.
