Do you think Jyll deserved to be embarrassed like that?

I was really disappointed in Wolfgang Puck. He really humiliated her and there was no reason for it. He should have given his critique on the food she set in front of him and that would've been fine. But to stop the dinner so he could show her the proper way to make risotto was going way too far. I lost a little love for Wolfgang, I'm sorry to say. Bobby does seem a little bit mean this season. I realize they have to be tough, but he is being just a little too mean.

No, I don't think she deserved that treatment. I was more suprised by the way the two woman judges treated Jill. They seemed to be more concerned with her perkiness and positive attitude in the face of failure, than her professional attitude. I watch Giada for the same reason. In fact, the Food Network as a whole has the most inspiring, positive people. This seemed to relate more to a personality clash than to her food.

Bobby Flay's comments were unfortunatly aired when they should have been edited out. In no way is that a personal attack on anyone's religion. As this is a competition, I do appreciate the honesty he gives contestants. It's wonderful to see the growth each of them are making as a result of his experience.

This is fastly becoming my favorite show on Food Network!

No i don't think she should have been embarrassed like that on national tv but what got me the most was Bobby Flay saying Jesus Christ about the whole thing in a non Christian way. He shoukl have left that alone. Being a Christian my self I thought that was uncalled for. He may not be a Christian and i am not his judge but that was not a good thing to say. And maybe one of these days he will need Christ in his life. I don't like him for what he said. I enjoy the show of the food stars but if that keeps up I will not watch it anymore. He needs to apologize to the Christians for his remark. that is slandering God and His son. I am a Christian and very proud of it. That is my opinion and i just wanted to tell you. Thank You and God bless you.....

There is a Jewish precept which says "Praise in public; criticize in private". After watching Wolfgang Puck publicly humiliate Jill, I now understand the concept. I, too, felt utterly degraded watching what he did to her. He may be a star in the kitchen, but not when it comes to basic human decency. His role was to critique her risotto; he was free to remark that the plate wasn't hot and the food was too dry. He could even have said she simply didn't cook risotto and verbally elaborated why. But he went way beyond that role. He cut her down completely (not just her dish) and it was utterly uncalled for. Jill-"hang tough". I, and hopefully others, respect you for having survived such mistreatment.

Wow..could Bobby Flay be any more of a jerk to these contestants? Does he forget that he once was a nobody looking for a break? What a pompous A hole!!
