Looks like Safeway is putting more "downtown" Chelan businesses out of business with a new fuel station. (So went the Judy-Jane Bakery, 3 Video stores, 2 Floral shops, need I say more?) Too bad WalMart couldn't get the fuel station instead of Safeway. At least it wouldn't be so much competition way out on Apple Blossom Drive!
