Which version of Grand Theft Auto IV will you buy?

I bought a 360 just for this game (among others)

Well then you wasted your money because as you can see the people think it's going to be better on Ps3(myself included)and i own both systems.....GTA belongs on its home system and(in my opinion)rockstar is wasting its time fooling with microsoft and there second rate system.

How is it going to be better? theyve confirmed theres no difference between the two, apart from the two downloadable episodes on 360 so if youve got Xbl then its better on 360 and that is fact that you cant deny, im not being a fanboy, i love ps3 its just there is extra content on 360.

By 'home system' you mean PC? Cuz thats what it came out on first in '98. JK PS3 all the way, YEAH BABY!.

I bought the system (360)for the same reason too ..and because it was more affordable back when it came out...the ps3 version is just a little better...its got less drop in frame rate and there are maybe 3-4 more cars or people in the map than the 360 version. Not enough to convince me to get a ps3.

I read that this game is going to be the same on both systems exept for the DLC on xbox 360 but rockstar is going to make DLC for ps3 just not the same as the 360 cuz they payed 50 mil. I am getting it for 360 cuz i dont own a ps3 and it will still be good anyway.

You bother posting your opinion here means that you have too much free time cause your Xbox 360 is on the fix since it RROD? or did you go on your PC so you can play better versions of your 360's "exclusives" on the computer?

The PS3 and the Xbox360 is indeed different if you actually read it online. The color scheme is a bit different, go look it up. The extra content is cool, but the game already plays for ~100hours as reported. I doubt over 50% of the players are going to finish it, so why bother paying for more missions (most likely) if you aren't even done with the ones that came with the game.

PS3 version for me, the 360 version is way way way overrated with some useless extra episode, when the majority of people won't even finish the game, MS wasted their money IMO, that's what you get for trying to buy and monopolise everything. and people also fail to realise that the PS3 would be getting downloadable content as well. GTA was born and breed on the playstation platform and nothing can change that.

I just recently brought a 360 just for this game, I nearly got a PS3 but then I remembered how horrible the controller for the PS2 was and how they hadn't changed the model.

Got some awesome games to play up till the realease too, something which doesn't appear to be apparant on the PS3 yet. Think I made the best choice.

I have been reading every piece of information on GTA IV, and i have seen no evidence of DLC for the PS3. Provide a link or its not true.

From the second paragraph: "In the scanned page, an article talks about how the GTA IV development team's own Jeronimo Barrera let slip the deal that the Sony PS3 will be getting its own downloadable content."

There's also rumors that the 360 DLC will be timed-exclusive(that rumor has been circulating for months now).

The PS2 controller is horriible...LMAO I've never EVER heard anybody make such a stupid comment...if you people seriously think that there isn't going to be a differnce in the 2 versions then your freakn gullible...of course R* is going to say that so they dont burn their bridges but common sense will tell you that since its a BLU-RAY DVD vs a Standard DVD there is going to have to be some sort of space issue for M$....also FYI in case you weren't aware of it M$ is only the preffered console in the U.S....in every other country gamers prefer and purchase the PS brand more than anything...but that too is changing, check out the NPD numbers...the PS3 has been outselling the 360 snce the beginning of the year....fcat of the matter is the360 is already outdated hardware...thats why they keep adding different upgrades and SKU's and price drops...it can't compete with the PS3 except to just make it cheaper.

It's alwasy easier to downtalk and critize something or someone that is better than you...its only human and especially American nature....and yes GTA4 will have DLC and HOME suport for the PS3 after HOME launches...dont be mad at Sony M$ lovers just because your beloved 360 is starting to look like a lame duck with cardboard cutout games

I own both systems but base on my Xbox keeps get the red ring of death, I will pick PS3 for every nonexclusive games every time. My Xbox is just for Fable2 only!(When it comes out)

i bouth a ps3 for this game i gave it 10/10.

Been playing GTA 4 now for about 40 hours since release. All I can say is... AWESOME and can someone please break my PS3, I'm starting to lose friends :)
