It is outrageous that our public schools are indoctrinating our children to accept homosexuality as normal. It is not normal, it is an abomination before God. No other small group, less than 5% of the population, has been able to shove their sexual preference doctrines down the throats of the American citizens like homosexuals have. The government is taking away the rights of a parent to have their child excluded from this dispicable indoctrination and are forcing five year-olds to listen to the flowery descriptions given to this sin. I am sure there are many, many people who do not agree with me, but as the grand-parent of nineteen (19) young impressionable children, it breaks my heart to know that my grand-children may have this doctrine FORCED on them. Evidentally, by the number of "love votes" in this poll, homosexuality is the "in" thing accepted by a majority, so unless parents stand up against this type of indoctrination of their children by the school system, their rights will be subject to whim of some school superintendent or a liberal judge.

It's wonderful that Lexington is open to such a diverse population. This is why we live here -- so our child will grow up in an open-minded environment. We should all be open to other's cultures, interests, concerns, hopes and fears. When we're exposed to different ideas and points of view can make more informed decisions about everything -- from the friends we choose, to the occupations we pursue, to the politics that we support. Diversity is one of the key components that makes our country and our community strong.

I am glad I only work in this town. Finite resources and they spend time, $$$ and effort to further a social agenda. I am sure the nations around the world are going to quickly adopt our superior education system. This is all going to come to ahead, there is no way we can continue in this downward spiral.
