Is there any chance McCain will see this, to know what the voters want?

Although Bobby Jindal has not been governor of La that long, and although he may not have a national following----he does have executive experience, is the right age, sends a clear message that the Republican tent is wide and broad, and would be an ideal running mate for John McCain.

Please leave Gov. Jindel alone. Lousiana needs him. Please let the man clean up the corruption in the state, then after he has done that, he can run for President

Don't be so hasty. McCain doesn't have the nomination yet; he doesn't have a lock on all those delegates that the MSM has put in his column. Let's see what happens in September ...

I am most surprised not to see more votes for Chuck Hagel or Bobby Jindal. There are also some names I do not recognize. Interesting... Ron Paul got only 23% Sounds like his primary percentages. However, the GOP need those active 23% to keep the party up and running in '08. We need to each think about this carefully.

JC Watts would be a brilliant choice - evermore so as each day draws further rancorous division within the ranks of the demoncrats. Here is my reasoning: Hillery may well pull out a Klintonian Koup and win this thing. If she does, Blacks will be angry and alienated - ripe for a "Leave the Dem Plantation- Return to the Party of Lincoln" plea. Much of their moral formulations and religious inclinations are inherently conservative, a vital resource we have lost by neglect, default and defensiveness. And we lost them to the truly despicable exploiters! Furthermore, abortion bears most heavily upon Blacks... Hugely, in fact. Much of this is by design of the Lefty-Lib leadership of the Starbucks Dems. They also suffer most from illegal immigration and its predations upon the job and housing markets. Its a long and sordid history, reaching back to Social Darwinists and space allocations do not permit adequate sustaining argument, so ya gotta trust me here... I believe, with smart communication and articulation of a Principled message, selection of JC can precipitate a tectonic shift of the political (and moral) landscape. If we move just 15% - not a majority, - not even a substantial minority - just 15 - 20% to out tent - we OWN IT ALL. JC is a highly attractive candidate in his own ... Wright. He too is a Baptist Minister - the religious inoculation McCain sorely needs. JC is tanned, rested, and ready - and a Heisman Trophy winning athlete, - smiling, smooth and countrified in manner and manners. He walks comfortably amongst Kings commoners, and JC will simply charm the country. Can one even imagine the stage contrast between a JS and a NoBama?!! I believe he would devastate the glib, (but really self-conscious, teleprompted and studied) Narcissism of NoBama. ... and I'll just bet JC can bowl! JC is also is a proven leader - not a one-term-minus Senator with a background in 'community organizing' whatever the ell that is ... but a national leader - third in standing - in the House! Yet, he walked from Power for the Light - the Ministry. What a compelling story! What a totally charming, truly principled representative, not of Black America, - not ethnic America, but of truly Conservative principles and American Values. JC is also relatively young. and - God Forbid! - if McCain needs a VP to stand in for him, - we may have the First Black REPUBLICAN President! That could mean not just an historic moment, but a profound demographic shift to the right in American politics. And Remember: If we Lose the Court this time - we may well lose the Republic. There are others who may meet the mail in terms of countervailing McCain's more quirky impulses. But few - none, actually - who answer the mail as well and as thoroughly as JC. I believe we would secure House seats with him in amazing numbers, and may even have a hope for attaining some Senate gains. And so, my fellow conspirators, - let's get behind a JC. I am convinced the choice of JC as McCain running mate is the Optimal we have available - few, if any downsides and - as a great runningback might say, - wide open daylight before us! So .. through our Reason and Free Will ... let's Resurrect JC !!! Frederick A. Peterson III, JD fapiii@aol.com

John McCain needs someone as a VP who has the Direction, intellegence. education, experience and personnal accomplishments that Condi Wright has achieved.and possess. John needs a IRON Lady, to help him keep his knees from wobbling.,{ when he is trying to be all things to all people }.and to keep him committed to a stance of basic , fundamental principles.

He should pick Rudi Giulianni because then the warmongers will see that America is not interested in continuing this illegal endeavor in Iraq. By picking RG, he will almost certainly lose the election.

I am a strong and loyal Ron Paul supporter. But Ron Paul should not be our nominee. We need a young conservative articulate VP candidate who can run win in 2012 Dr Rand Paul, Ron Paul's son would be my first choice I voted for Colin Powell. He was my first choice in 2000 and we would not have gone to Iraq if Colin Powell had been President

I've pretty much made up my mind. Unless McCain chooses as his VP an Evangelical Social Conservative the likes of JC Watts or Gov. Huckabee, I cant vote for him. Anyone who smells like a non christian, country clubber, moderate, or liberal on the ticket will further push me away for the GOP.
