What do you think of her choice?

I liked that she actually had something interesting going on on the arms - HATE the strapless "uniform" that seems to be all anyone can design these days...having more to the dress gives so much more to look at - but I felt the dress had some inconsistencies in the design - what was going on on her backside anyway?? all the bunching didn't seem purposeful aesthetically...and the neckline was too plunging - she doesn't exactly have much to show there anyway - I thought it had too much ordinaryness about it...though of course mainly it did the job...the veil too was so flat on her hear head - not enough specialness to the dress - and she and Will had so little romantic exchanges during the ceremony - his back was to her as she walked down the aisle!
maybe living together b4 marriage just takes the exciting romantic edge off.

Kate wore a very elegant and beautiful wedding gown, reminiscent of the gown worn by Princess Grace of Monaco. It was so nice to finally see a bride walk into a church covered by sleeves, and so appropriately dressed for a holy place. Today's American brides show a great disrespect for the House of God as they parade down the aisle in strapless, cleavage-baring and backless dresses. This is not only disrespectful, but a gross display of bad taste.

If a bride chooses to marry in an outside venue or in a hotel ballroom or even someone's backyard, then strapless is fine, even though strapless dresses are not very flattering on many women. Plus, strapless dresses are downright boring. Overweight women or women with ample bustlines should stay far away from strapless attire.

If a bride chooses to marry in the sanctuary of a church or in a temple, then she should dress appropriately. This means that she should not wear strapless or halter-style dresses that bare too much skin in a holy place. This includes the bridesmaids who come in all shapes and sizes. Bridesmaid dresses should be chosen to flatter everyone's body type. Showing cleavage and bare backs in a House of Worship is simply not appropriate, no matter your financial or social status. It's time for people to bring respect, manners and good taste back to the job of wedding planning.

Hopefully, Kate will inspire young women to dress more appropriately for their special day, showing that it is possible to be covered and be fashionable. The dress was very tasteful, sophisticated, classic and traditional. Thank you Kate for being a shining example of excellent taste!
