I am not shocked at all that Pia got booted. She can sing but she is BORING as a performer. I would never go to her concert. It would be a waste of money watching her just stand or sit there as she sings. I want to see someone that can perform and entertain the crowd. She always sings ballad too. She was told several times to change it up and she kept saying next time I will. You always sing/perform like it is your last. Well, there is no more next time.

To all who think that Pia was the only one talented is totally mistaken. And to all who assume that only teeny bopper girls are the only ones voting or they aren't smart enough to know talent, is truly mistaken. Teeny boppy girls and boys are the ones who spend money on music, concerts, merchandise, etc., that make or break future talent, so don't discriminate against young voters...they know what they like to see and hear. I know plenty of middle aged people as well as young people that have the same opinion of Pia. Beautiful and talented but definitely a very boring performer. They wouldn't go out of their way to buy her music or see her in concert.

Pia is beautiful and can definitely sing BUT, she is very BORING as a performer. She is definitely not well-rounded enough to be an idol. Her voice is also not unique enough. If I was listening to the radio and she was on, I wouldn't know that it was her. Ballads will not make her a star.
The celebrity judges can be shocked all they want but I know many people who have the same opinion. Maybe the Pia supporters got tired of the same old thing.

Yes she can sing, but.......how many times do you have to be told to move around a little. Pia will make a good singer for an animated movie......where she "CAN JUST SING AND BE HAPPY"!!!!!!!

Yes...she was robbed in the sense that she is the most talented person on the show. Whether she had won Idol or not, her career will still take off, despite losing Idol.
Unfortunately, it's the young teeny bopper girls who are the one's voting. It used to be adults voting when the show was new, but now they're kinda over it and the young girls are still caught up in it. The girls are going to vote for the cute boy and a boy will win Idol from now on, no matter how untalented they may be. Pia is an attractive girl, and there aren't enough young teenage boys voting. Pia also was a little cocky, which also led to her early demise. American teenage girls don't have time for attitude and cockiness. This show has actually become more of a popularity, underdog rising to the top, cutest boy contest, as opposed to a talent competition. If it were based on talent, Pia should have won hands down. She was the only tolerable singer on the show....besides the country/pop Kelly/Carrie type singer chick who will be eliminated soon for being a female.
