20/20 would be really fun. Also, including some more rules of international cricket like having Free hit or first five overs only 1 / 2 fielders outside the circle can make it interesting. BTW this poll and comment feature is awsome ...

Yes, love the idea of getting more of the international format in the league although have fielders in/out of the circle may not be possible.

16 overs format is good for 8 players a side.

16 over match doesn't excite much. 20/20 is more fun and relates well to 20/20 Cricket. If any team's 8 players cannot play 20 overs, then its the team issue not league one.

While 20/20 format looks cool and exciting, ARCL needs to take into account practical realities of conducting matches under conditions here. With ever increasing number of teams and fewer grounds, increasing the duration of each match to 20 overs is bound to increase the tournament duration and each team might end up playing games only on alternate weekends. Except for a couple of regular sized cricket grounds like Marymoor and Ron Regis, increasing the number of players to more than 8 on other odd shaped grounds will stiffle run scoring and result in more low scoring games.
