I like it. Maybe some yeast ?s. Whitelabs vs Wyeast, starter vs slurry, ale vs lager...
I like the poll! It could be serious, or even silly or funny at times. A poll is a way for sites for get some simple interaction started even if/when the poll topic isn't stellar (as may happen once we've gone through a lot of topics)
Also, I think that good questions will be interesting themselves, like a Trivia of the Day that doesn't require you dismiss it from the screen.
