I think that this survey is a wonderful idea. Although there is still a very common age for type I diabetes diagnoses in adults (20), and the fact that children of all ages get diagnosed with type I (or are even born with it), the epidemic of type II diabetes is alot more unpredictable.
For some reason I found this Poll interesting as well.
misdiagnosed at age 42 1/2 as type 2, on insulin one month later ( in 1983 )
The diagnoses of Type 2 appears to be more widely spread that I would have thought. Except that medical news has been reporting for some years now that younger and younger people are being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes than before, mainly from poor diet, inactivity and obesity.
I wonder what results this poll might get five years from now, or ten years from now, if there is not a major turning-around in the health and dietary habits of young people soon!
