Was a business customer...ordered Freedom for business from Verizon few years back. Was told it would be $34/line for each of my 3 lines. Got the bill, was over $200. Called Verizon....oh yes they said...it's $34/line for all your calling but an additional $28/line FOR THE DIAL TONE !!! They sucked me for 3 years like that until Cablevision gave me the same service for $120/mo for all my lines. As usual, Verizon up to their typical lowballing tricks.

I was hit by a driver that had Allstate and had medical bills. They wouldn't even cover all of my expenses. I had to use my own insurance to help with the medical bills. They SUCK!!!

I had my car insurance with Progressive for about 10 months (I use to ride motorcycles only and they dont need insurance in FL). Allstate called my house (we had our house insurance with them) and offered much cheaper insurance for my car. I spoke to the girl on the phone for about an hour getting the lowdown on their service and finally told her that I was sold on the deal and would switch to Allstate in 2 months when my car insurance ran out. She told me that it was not necessary to wait and that if I got insurance with them that Progressive would refund me the remainder of my policy by law. I said ok and signed up then called Progressive and canceled. Sure enough I got a check from Progressive for the prorated remainder. 2 weeks later I got a letter from Allstate telling me that they were dropping coverage for me after the 1st month because I did not have 1 full year coverage (I had told the girl on the phone I had only had insurance for 10 months). I went round and round with them and as high up as I could get in the corporate ladder and they would not budge. I went back to Progressive and then removed my home insurance from Allstate.

Verizon is the devil and very hard to deal with BUT Allstate totally f@&ked policy holders in the past year. You can only escape Allstate by leaving them. They raised our car and homeowners insurance in the past year AND up'd our deductible on our house to 5% of the total value if we are hit by a hurricane. What's the point in insurance anymore?

Had a claim with allstate. Not my fault... they put after market parts on my 2 year old truck they had the body shop go to Wal-mart for my bug shield. They said get this...... PRE EXISTING condition on my anti lock brakes computer chip, it went bad as a result of the collusion its been 2 years since the wreck and still no anti lock brakes...I could not PROVE it happened in the wreck. It's what they said I had to do To get it fixed. My neighbor had a 50ft yacht with 130k insurance on it. 80k just in hull alone. it broke loose from his dock and sank down river they settled after 2 years for get this ....25,000... He had been with them for 13 years paying for 130k worth of insurance I think that is fraud to make him pay 130 then only give him 25.. PS he was retired owned it out right so much for one of his life investments. THANKS ALLSTATE YOUR #1 at least you can't see which particular finger I'm holding up..LOL
