Now that John McCain has enough delegates to secure the GOP nomination, should Ron Paul stay in the race anyway?

Dr. Paul should stay in, all the way to the convention, to give all GOP voters an alternative to McCain.

Dr. Paul should stay in, all the way to the convention, because McCain benefits from the free publicity that comes from a continuing contest.

Dr. Paul should stay in for a while, using his delegates as leverage to get concessions on the platform, the vice presidency, primetime speaking assignments – whatever is the best deal he can get.

Dr. Paul should get out.

I refuse to vote for a 100 year war or a welfare state....I will vote for Paul until he drops out...if he drops out I will vote for the best candidate...if that ends up being a candidate that gets 0.5% of the vote, then so be it...you won't be able to blame me for the war or 65% income tax in the near future.

McCain is no where near the definition of Conservative. How is "100 years....maybe more" in Iraq conservative? He's already consigned my six-year old son to death in the cesspool. Dr. Ron Paul is the only true Conservative in the race. He is the only hope for the Republican Party, and for our Nation. No sane American wants McStain in the White House. Too bad it will take Clinton or Obama winning before the current Party leadership will realize that. Oh, who am I kidding! If they're too fucking blind to see the hope that Dr. Paul presents.....they'll never really realize how much damage they will have wrought on our once great Republic after either of the Dems secure power.

I am concerned that Conservatives are making comments that sound like many Democrats in misconstuing John McClain's statements about '100 years". He clearly was not talking about warfare, but potential stationing of troops,as in Germany, Japan and Korea. Perhaps we should think more about getting our troops out of these functioning economies and concentrating our military strength on the current dangers. While we may disagree with McClain on various issues, he is the only potentially electable Republican - and needed for security.
