The celebs need to pay attention to the good book (The Bible), it clearly states that the left hand should not know what the right hand is doing.Basically, what that tells you is to be anonomous in your gifts or giving. P.S. Love Others, Not yourself.

I would be more than glad to donate to this cause IF ALL OF THESE "SO CALLED" CELEBS WOULD VANISH FROM THE MEDIA FOREVER....THEY ARE ALL MEDIA WHORES AND DO NOT DESERVE A DIME OF HARD EARNED MONEY!!! They should try getting a REAL JOB and living in a NORMAL person's shoes' for a while; yet, even then, I doubt they would ever get it!

These celebs are paid real money (more than YOU or I will ever make!) for doing this and they honestly think the minds of the viewers will NOT go straight to the gutter! Lmfao!

These people actually get paid for entries on twitter? Our economy is in the crapper and people have money for these self-promoting.... I agree these kids are in need and feel for them, but I think charity needs to be concentrated on US soil. The money was made here, it should go to help our sick and starving kids and families first.

seriously. i donate to the salvation army a few times a year which is all i can afford. im not rich, im not famous, and i don't need these pop whores to tell me where and how to donate. they can stay dead (real or virtual) for all i care.

I would gladly donate to their charity if they would promise to quit being fame whores for awhile. Why don't they make personal donations?

Don't get me wrong; I donate to charities continuously throughout the year. I would do that whether or not a celebrity endorses the charities of my choice.

As stated in the article and by other posters; just give your money to the cause and shut up! Charity is supposed to be given quietly and without personal gain or accolades.

Seems a little unfair that they ask other people to donate when they are capable of donating the money themselves. Don't make the people who would like to help but can't feel bad cause the celebrities are looking for attention. In the article it says "This is such a direct and instantly emotional way and a little sarcastic, you know, of a way to get people to pay attention," said Keys. Exactly what are the people paying attention too? Kim in a coffin or HIV/AIDS awareness. REALLY? this is how you choose to get people to be aware of AIDS. So lets see.......How many people you think will pick this picture apart instead of thinking about what it should really stand for.........I say just another example of self centered people worried about their own awareness day

Why don't they just give their money and be quiet. We shouldn't give because celebrities ask, we should give because we can. Let us pick our own causes. We all know about the various causes around the world. Many of us are just trying to keep a float or get back a float. I used to give plenty of money to causes. Fix our economy, get the dems to stop spending our money, stop taxing us to death, then we can all go back to giving to causes.
