Which team has had the more disappointing season so far, the Dodgers or the Angels?

I'd say the Dodgers because they have the talent to go into the playoffs and not just be happy to be there. They have the lineup to go fairly far, but not with that rotation. The dissapointment is all in the hands of Frank and Jamie Mccourt. The Dodgers need a real baseball man at the front, not some glorified real estate agent who just wanted a new toy to play with that he could put in the pot with chinese investors. To him the Dodgers are just another property, and Dodger Stadium is just another yard that he has someone else cut for him. What's worse is that when I pay to go see a game at the stadium or buy merchandise I know it's not going towards fielding the best possible team. It's to front him some money to buy another beach house or a nice house in the hills somewhere. He's raising ticket prices and lowering player payroll, how does this make sense? The Dodgers are in one of the most populated markets in the MLB and have made him and his greedy, $1 million dollar a month seeking wife a lot of money already. I can honestly say that it starts with the greed of the owners for not getting us the one or two players we need to get us to the championship. It's all we need, and it's like the Mccourts are letting a big piece of meat rot instead of putting the small finishing touches on it to make it a great steak. The clock is ticking. With the way free agency works now, we may not have these young productive stars forever so now is the time to pull the trigger and make our runs towards championships and not just be satisfied with making the playoffs! The Dodgers are one of the teams with the most history and tradition with a great significance to it's cities people and others outside of it. The Dodgers are not just an MLB team, they are an institution. The results could be expected, but what I really expected is for the team to improve somehow over the offseason. That's what is to be done whenever you are serious about winning. The Dodgers deserve better than the Mccourts, and better than settleing for the second round until we meet the Phillies again.

The Dodgers came into the season with no fifth starter, with a fourth starter who is a bit of a wish and a prayer, and with two youngsters who have not yet settled into a pitching identity (i.e., no. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5). Kuroda offered the greatest hope for consistency, but he is at best a no. 3. The situation put too much pressure on Kershaw and Billingsley and it is showing.
The young position players are developing well, but they have been helped by the presence of Ramirez and even by Blake and Furcal.
It was obvious in spring training that the Dodgers needed to acquire a no. 1 or 2 pitcher, but for monetary reasons did not.
Not too much ground for disappointment.
