Arguably, yes. Imagine if the GOP had made the same appeal to white men.
No. Minorities make up 33 percent of America. Acknowledging their existence isn’t playing the race card.
It’s just politics. Any party leader has to persuade his voter base to turn out.
The "race card" concept doesn’t exist in a post-racial 21st century America.
