What is the biggest driving factor behind the rise of the Tea Party?

To be sure, there are uninformed people: those that deny that adding millions of people to the medical system and limiting physician pay won't cause a doctor shortage and a patient influx. There WILL BE RATIONING, people WILL HAVE TO WAIT for service, SOME WILL DIE WHILE WAITING, PANELS WILL DECIDE WHAT TREATMENTS ARE WORTH THE COSTS. ----------[Please Wiki "supply and demand" or ask an economist and market analyst (as I was at Stanford Research Institute).] I asked my congressman to do this. He couldn't be bothered, as he couldn't be bothered to read the 2400 page monstrosity bill. The Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi actually said "We have to pass the bill so you can find out what's in it"- (You can see the YouTube of her saying it if you Google "We have to pass this bill") -------You and the Congress have no right to speak of "misinformation" or claim we aren't "sufficiently informed" --------NONE OF THE ADVOCATES OF THIS BILL WERE INFORMED. THIS BILL IS A DISASTER FOR THE ELDERLY, THE CHRONICALLY ILL, AND ALL TAXPAYERS. --OBOMACARE IS THE CURSE THAT WILL HAUNT AMERICA FOR DECADES TO COME.----When the government decides which treatments will be covered there will be rationing without any ability to appeal. -------If it looks like a death panel, smells like a death panel, and people die, call it what you want, it's a DEATH PANEL. --- DJ-----"Taxes are the epoxies that grease the wheels of our economy"

I think the pollster left out a viable choice: Misinformation. To a sizeable degree, I believe the movement got rolling in the first place because of a single phrase, 'death panels.' I have seen much to indicate that the movement wouldn't be nearly as strong if the participants were sufficiently informed.

I think the pollster here doesn't understand what the "Tea Party" movement is about. The original Boston Tea Party in 1773 was about "taxation without representation." My understand of the Tea Party is: AMERICAN'S DON"T WANT TO BE TAXED INTO POVERTY AND OUR GOVERNMENT ISN'T LISTENING TO US!" The current administration has put in place a health care program that will bankrupt our country within the next decade. This law was shoved down the throats of a very outspoke majority of Americans, the Tea Party is one aspect of this. I believe we should refer to this healthcare law as ObamaCare for the next 300 years so that future generations may curse his name until we are bankrupt and historians may cite his narcissistic personality disorder as a warning about future leaders. --- "Taxes are the epoxies that grease the wheels of our economy"
