Oh, I just realized I totally commented in the wrong post. Sorry.
MSP is much more listenable and faithful to the original song, while Laruen Hill's version totally ruins the beat. Reel Big Fish's ska take on the song is my favorite though.
The Manic Street Preachers version I prefer to the "rapperfied" version from Lauren Hill. Laurens voice does not lend well to this song and the added beats ruin the song for me. The MSP version however stays close to the sound of the original. This makes it more listenable, but it also doesn't add anything.
