The Judicial System needs to prosecute illegal activities. As an Episcopalian if I commit crime, say have sex with a minor, I would be prosecuted. If someone aided me by sending me to another town for another job, they would be complicit in my crime. The separation of Church and State does NOT include illegal activity. I do not understand why otherwise smart people fall for the corruption, cruelty and greed of the Roman Catholic Church. However, I think I really do know why. If one is forced to accept the dictates of an old guy in Rome without questioning anything all your life you may be in some sort of dictatorial paternalistic daze. WAKE UP.

Well Eleanor, the reason no one responded to your religious rant is that people are getting tired of proslytizers and religious fanatics and you wouldn't be open to an opinion that condradicts your blind faith anyway, right?

No one deserves immunity from what they do, in any high office or condition. They must answer to the ones they hurt or deceive. GOD, has no favorites. Read Job 33-6. GOD loves us all as equals and wants salvation for us all. He proved this with HIS great gift of HIS son Jesus Christ who came to redeem you. Read the Bible and stop listening to false prophets and satan who is deceiving many. amen

I thought I would get at least one reply. Or another comment. My words are strong and perhaps no one wants to debate them. Nor should they. Peter was a married man who Jesus Christ put in charge of HIS ministry before HIS death on the Cross for all of mankind. Who in their right mind can turn away from GOD ? If you do not know HIM then seek and you will find HIM. Holy Scripture explains all of our troubles. Only GOD, can save mankind as manknd does not want to give up their so called sins. If you have never heard of the Second coming of Jesus Christ, you are hearing it now. Many signs were to be given before it happens, which are happening now. We have always had floods, wars and famines and hardships, but not like today. They become stronger as time goes on. Signs from GOD, that HIS son is coming again. No one knows the day or the night. A day is like a thousand years to GOD. But the signs are clearer and clearer. Are you ready ? Or are you still living the way of the world ? If so then you must repent and change your ways or you will never see the Kingdom of GOD. The second coming of Jesus Christ is not the end of the world. Jesus Christ will reign for 1000 years before the end comes, but only the saved will be with HIM for this 1000 years. Look at your life. What is it like ? Is it full of the pleasures of this world or the spirit of GOD ? Are you bearing good fruit or bad fruit ? Are you forgiving your brother and telling him of the GRACE of GOD, that could come into his life and bring him the peace he is looking for ? Jesus Christ forgivs all sins when a person repents and asks HIMto be the Lord and Masterof his life ? Are you burdened down with sin and think there is no hope for you ? My friend there is hope in Jesus Christ. Open your heart to him and HE will forgive any thing that you have done and give you a new life. We are facing a 3rd world war. Yes we are. Communisn was not converted. Iran will soon have all of the nuclear war heads it needs and she will attack. Come to the Lord Jesus before this happens. Know the peace of the Lord from your past. A call to any one who wants this is always open from Jesus Christ. If you are afraid HE will take that away from you. Listen to HIS call of rependance. This is a period of grace for you. Not only should the pope be sued but made to step down as pope. He knew this as Cardinal Ratzinger. He also had a gag order put on Lucy, the Fatima seer who told us the Fatima message had not been done. Evidence of that came to pass in WW !! when Russia proceeded to spread her errors into the world. Had this 3rd message been done properly, then Russia would have been converted and WW !! would not have taken place. We still do not know the full message of Our Lady of Fatima. The pope was well aware of the edofiles and did nothing. The Vatican is wrong in not giving thes pedofile names to the civil courts as all they will do after being defrocked is be in our society and harm more children. This popes own brother was ahead of the Vatican choir and abused children himself, by hitting them in the face when they made mistakes. What do you expect from two Germans who were brought up inGermany with hatred in them ? I say not only demand the pope to step down but also face civil prosecution. HE KNEW and kept it quiet. There is no such thing as a person in high authorityy not facing their wrongs. No wonder this world is so evil. Also Cardinal Law should be defrocked as he stepped down in Boston for covering up for pedofiles he knew about. He ran to the Vatican and now has a positin as pastor of St Mary Margeret Church in Rome. So do not tell me they will do any thing to help out side of the church as that is a sin on their part. Women have their place in the church, but not as leaders. Jesus called men to the ministry as apostles or priests. I am sorry for women who do not want to obey GOD. Womens place is in the home raising her family and being a loyal wife, unless her husband abuses her, then she can leave but remai single unless her husband dies. In Genesis 2 vs 18-25 GOD lays down HIS plan for man and woman. It is not good for a man to be alone so GOD, made Eve for Adam which defines celebracy only a law of the church called a canon, which is wrong. Untill we turn back to the ways of GOD, there will never be peace in this world. Since mankind will not do this , then mankind is bringing disaster to himself. GOD is GOD forever and HIS great plan will NEVER change. Yes there is a great chastisement coming uponthis earth. Brought on by the disobedience of mankind himself. GOD, gave us free will. That does not mean we can do as we want. It means you have the free choice to follow Jesus Christ and HIS teachings or go your own way and pay the price of your own doing. I imploy you to turn back to GOD or accept HIS great grace and save your self from destruction. This covers all upheavels that are in this world. The Pope CANNOT& MUST NOT B SUED. He deserves the same immunity from prosecution that all heads of state enjoy. Besides its not he who has erred. This is a matter for the Vatican to decide about the priests in question, not the courts.
